 Some silly fun for Riley's birthday December 2009
Riley turned 8 on November 30, 2009, which was a Monday. We'd hoped to hold a party for him on the
Saturday before, November 28, but he'd gotten sick the week before and wasn't able to invite any of his friends for school, so we decided to postpone.
But, he creatively suggested that he be allowed to open his presents on November 28 anyway, so he would have all weekend to play with them, assuming
some of them might be, you know, toys and/or video games.
Once we agreed to that, Riley made big plans.
